Global Precision

Activating your warranty

It takes about two minutes, and you only do it once per device.

How to activate

  1. Scan the QR code

Point your phone's camera at the QR code on the box and tap the link. No QR code? Go to warranty.globalprecision.com.my

  2. Enter your serial number

It's printed on the device itself, on the box, and on your warranty card — usually 6–9 characters.

Don't worry about spaces, dashes or capital letters. We sort that out for you.
Bought two hearing aids? You'll be asked for both serial numbers, so have both devices to hand.
  3. Fill in your details

Your full name as on your NRIC or passport, your country, your NRIC or passport number, and your mobile number. Email is optional.

Tick the consent box and press Activate. That's it — you'll see a confirmation screen.

If you saw a message on screen

Find the one you saw. None of them mean you've done anything wrong.

"Serial number does not exist in our system"

The number hasn't reached us yet, or there's a typo.

Try: check each character against the device — 0 and O, 1 and I are easy to mix up. Try the serial on the device itself rather than the box. If you bought it very recently, wait a day. Still stuck? Call your branch — they can fix it in minutes and you can try again straight away.
"This device has not been released for activation yet"

Your purchase hasn't been fully processed on our side yet — usually the invoice isn't complete.

What to do: call the branch where you bought it. Nothing is wrong with your device, and nothing is wrong with what you did.
"We need to check this serial number before it can be activated"

Two of our records mention this same serial number, so we want a person to confirm which one is yours before registering it. This protects you — it stops your device being registered to somebody else.

What to do: call your branch. It's usually corrected the same day, and you can then activate normally.
"This warranty is missing its start date"

A detail is missing on our records — not something you can fix.

What to do: call your branch and mention this message. Usually corrected the same day.
"This warranty has already been activated"

Someone has already registered this device — often a family member, or the branch doing it for you.

What to do: if you weren't expecting that, call your branch to check whose name it's under.
"This order has two devices — both serial numbers are required"

You bought a pair, so both need registering together.

What to do: find the second device and enter its serial too. Both are then covered.
"This order is no longer active"

This order was cancelled or replaced on our records.

What to do: call your branch. If you're holding the device, they'll sort it out.

Common questions

How do I find my serial number?
It's printed on the device itself — usually inside the battery compartment or on the body — and on the box and warranty card. Your branch can also look it up from your invoice.
Do I have to activate it?
It's strongly recommended. Without it we have no record linking the device to you, which makes a warranty claim slower and means you won't get service reminders at 6, 12 and 22 months.
My order has two hearing aids — what do I enter?
Both serial numbers, together, in one activation. Both devices are then covered.
What details do I need?
Your full name as on your NRIC or passport, your country, your NRIC or passport number, and your mobile number. Email is optional. There's no account to create and no password to remember.
When does my warranty start?
From the date of your invoice, not the date you activate. Activating registers the device to you; it doesn't change your coverage dates.
I'm not a Malaysian citizen — can I still activate?
Yes. Choose your country and enter your passport number instead of an NRIC.
Can someone activate on my behalf?
Yes — a family member or your branch can. Use your details, not theirs, so the reminders reach the right person.
I made a typo. Can I change it?
Yes — call your branch and they'll correct it.
What happens to my details?
They're used to register your warranty, contact you about your device, and send service reminders by WhatsApp. We don't sell them or use them for anything else.

Still stuck? Call your branch.
